The Moorings is another community that I lived in. I loved the proximity to the beach and for a low voluntary HOA fee of less than $125 you get access to the private beach park owned by the Mooring Home Owners association. As a beach person, I would walk to the beach in the afternoon for some sun (Vitamin D) and stay for the breathtaking sunsets. There are plenty of great restaurants in walking distance and is less than a 10 minute drive to the heart of Olde Naples. The Moorings is a community that is west of 41 and not far from downtown or North Naples. The housing stock includes luxury beach front condo towers, estate homes with docks behind them and estate homes on around a third of an acre lot size within a short walk to the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Lot prices are now over $2million dollars for a normal site and over $5 million for a waterfront home that has convenient Gulf access.
